Zircon Oxide – ZrO2

Also known as Zirconia, due its high thermal resistance and strength Zircon Oxide is largely used in special refractories and Ceramics. The high thermal expansion allows the use of Zirconia for joining of Steel and Ceramic in different types of constructions.

Other applications for Zircon Oxide would be pigments and ceramic colors but also on the medical field such as prosthesis and dental implants.
